Francesco Luzzini is Affiliate Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. His work focuses on the Earth sciences, natural philosophy and medicine in early modern Europe. In 2015 and 2016 he was Edition Open Sources Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oklahoma, and in 2012 and 2014 he was Research Fellow at the Linda Hall Library in Kansas City (MO). He taught history of biology, history of geology and history of medicine at the Universities of Milan and East Piedmont.
